Whenever you need to manage and organize your data stored on the hard disk or perform file and folder operations, you may find that Windows Explorer, the default Windows application for managing files, may not be enough for your needs. Fortunately, there are numerous applications on the market which allow you to manage all your files and perform file and folder operations efficiently.

One such application is Saladin. After installing the program using its simple installer, the user will be amazed how practical and intuitive the interface is, featuring two side by side panels, each of them displaying the files located in a certain folder stored on the hard disk.

Performing file and folder operations is possible just by dragging and dropping items from a panel to another. Optionally, the user can take advantage of the top graphical toolbar which allows him to easily move, copy or delete files. What's more, Saladin includes a fully-featured compressing client which allows you to archive any file or folder, without requiring an external archiving tool to be installed.

Furthermore, Saladin includes an efficient tool which is able to quickly find any file or folder much faster than using Windows Search tool, even without using the indexing service. By accessing the settings area, the user will be able to modify the font type and size and also change the language of the interface.

Pros

It features two side by side panels which allow you to perform file operations using drag and drop. Besides that, it has a built-in archiving tool. Furthermore, the font size and type can be easily changed, together with the language of the interface.

Cons

It doesn't allow you to customize shortcut keys. Saladin allows you to easily perform file and folder operations using drag and drop and an intuitive and practical interface.
